Prediction Markets

Prediction markets let the room buy Yes or No shares on event outcomes: elections, sports, crypto milestones, anything Polymarket has live.

Winning shares pay out $1 each when the market resolves. Losing shares go to $0.

Opening a position

Tap Predict in the chat bar to open the prediction drawer.

The drawer shows:

• Market search. Find live markets by keyword or browse by category.
• Outcome. Yes or No.
• Order type. Market crosses the spread now. Limit sets your price and waits for a counterparty.
• Amount. In USDC or in shares.
• Live order book. Bids and asks update in real time.

Confirming posts a prediction card to the room with a link to the market.

The first prediction trade a room makes can take a moment because funds move across before the order goes through. Later trades in the same room are quicker.

Managing positions

Open positions appear in the Trading Fund dashboard with:

• Market title and your side.
• Shares held, average entry, and mark price.
• Unrealised PnL.

You can sell back into the order book at any time before the market resolves. Use the close drawer on the position card.

Redeeming a resolved position

Once a market resolves, the position is no longer trading. To pull the proceeds back into the fund, open the Polymarket tab in the Trading Dashboard. Resolved positions stay listed there until they're redeemed.

Only the room creator can trigger a redemption. Two options:

• Redeem on a single resolved position.
• Redeem all at the top of the list to clear every redeemable position in one go.

Winning shares pay out at $1 each, losing shares at $0. The proceeds land back in the fund as USDC.

Where it's available

Polymarket is geoblocked in some regions. If you're in one of them, the Predict button is disabled and the market list is hidden. There's no workaround in the app.
