Calls
How creators call tokens and how calls are tracked.
A call is a creator flagging a token in their room. Only the room's creator can make calls.
Making a call
Choose Call in the room's actions menu, or Make a call on a token's page. Then set:
- Direction: Bullish, Bearish or Watching.
- Thesis (optional): why you're calling it. Only keyholders can read it.
- Price levels (optional): a target and an invalidation price. On a Bullish call the target must be above invalidation; on a Bearish call, below.
- Visibility:
- Public: everyone sees the token.
- Private: only keyholders see the token. The call still shows in activity and on the leaderboard, with the token hidden.
A creator can make 3 calls in any 24 hours. Calls can't be edited once published.
Tracking
A call records the token's price and market cap when it's made. Its multiple is the current price divided by that call price, so 2x means the price has doubled. AlfaClub tracks each call's peak multiple for 90 days.
Where calls show
- In the room's chat. View calls in the actions menu lists them all.
- On the token's page.
- On the creator's profile.
- In Explore's live activity.
- On the Calls leaderboard, once a call reaches 2x.
Sharing a call
Tap Share on a call to get an image and a link. Add an optional public teaser of up to 110 characters to show on the card; the full thesis stays in the room. A shared private call only says that a call was made.
