Chat

Who can post

• Open chat: every keyholder can post, reply and start threads.
• Creator posts: only the creator's messages go to the whole room. A keyholder's message goes only to the creator. If the creator replies to it, it's shared with the room. Threads are closed in this mode; earlier threads stay readable.

The creator can switch modes any time in Room settings. The chat shows when the mode changes.

Messages

• Up to 2,000 characters. Open the full editor for bold, headings, lists, quotes, code and links. You can save up to 5 drafts per room there.
• Up to 4 photos per message (10 MB each), or a GIF, sticker or voice note. Stickers include AlfaClub packs and a search. Voice notes can be up to 5 minutes.
• Reactions and replies. Threads in open chat.
• Mention someone with @. Type two letters to search the room's members.
• Edit a text message for 5 minutes after sending. Only the creator can delete messages.
• Search a room's messages.
• Report a message to send it to AlfaClub's moderators.

Tokens in chat

Type $ to tag a token, up to 3 per message. A tag shows the token's live price and market cap, and how far it has moved since the message. Tap it for details and a chart.

When the creator tags a token, the message also saves a chart with their trades marked. The creator can pick the timeframe or post without a chart.

Trading from chat

Trade in the room's actions menu opens a trade sheet with token search, so you can buy or sell without leaving the chat. See Spot trading.

Creator trades and positions

The creator's trades in AlfaClub post live as trade cards, with the market cap at the time and the realized PnL on sells. This covers spot trades and room tokens. Trades made outside AlfaClub don't show.

Keyholders can open the creator's positions to see:

• Open positions, with entry price, value and unrealized PnL.
• History: the creator's past trades.
• Trading PnL over 24 hours, 7 days, 1 month or all time.

Creator tools

Only the creator can:

• Make calls.
• Create polls: up to 5 options, single or multiple choice, running 5 minutes to 7 days. One poll can be open at a time, and the creator can end it early.
• Mention everyone with @all.
• Pin their own messages.
• Delete any message.
• Mute a member for 5 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours or permanently. A mute stops new messages but doesn't hide old ones. Manage mutes in Room settings → Muted users.
• Launch the room token from the actions menu.

Room notices

Chip (Bot) posts room notices, such as welcomes, key purchases, poll results and token launches.

Unread messages

Rooms open at the New messages line. The unread count goes down as you read, and Back to live takes you to the latest message. To silence a room, mute it from its options in your Chats list. See Notifications.

Pinned rooms

Pin up to five rooms to the top of your list.
